Everyday on our daily routine we wake up, prepare ourselves for the day and head towards the destination we have planned for ourselves for the day. Some of us probably pray, some even don’t and for those who even pray, how strongly do they consider what God thinks for them in that particular day?
We live in a world or a country where we are so much concerned with what our boss at the workplace thinks we have to do, and if we don’t go by that we will get fired or something. We live in a world where the way our friends decides we should go is the big deal, if not we are out of the modern lane. We are in a world where it’s all about what others thinks now. This only gives me one question to ask us all, When are we going to consider what God thinks first or when are we going to ask the creator of the universe what He thinks first?
We can’t answer this question without a bible verse so let’s read;
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory.
Commit thy works unto the Lord , and thy thoughts shall be established.
Now if Christ Jesus is able to do exceedingly abundantly above what we think or ask then why don’t we ask him first for his plans for our day before we hook on to our boss and friends for instructions and advice we later even wish we never had gone for. Now am not saying its bad or wrong to seek for advice or do what our instructors ask us to do, is right and good to do but why don’t you ask God first if He can do abundantly above what these people we look up to thinks.
On this short piece all I want you to be inspired on is that, Do not plan your day or schedules without God, but first pray and read those schedules you have planned to God, find out what He thinks on the steps you are about to take, what He suggests you do first as you step out there and if you do so with a calm heart and an understandable spirit, surely I believe God will direct you there.
Who knows, the direction God will give you might even fall in line with just what you had planned already or what your boss asked you to do, but then you are safe and secured because it came from the Lord. One might ask what if it doesn’t go with my plans or my instructors plan, well if it doesn’t then it means God’s plan is going to be on a better outcome than yours, and all you have to do is to follow His plan because you wouldn’t want to miss God’s better outcome for any other thing.
Now I pray that unto Him who is able to do far more above what we think, guides us and surrounds us with directions that leads to success anytime we pray and ask for His guidance,Amen.
